Our focus book in literacy for the end of our Autumn topic was 'The Little Red Hen'. The boys and girls in P1 had lots of fun during 'Learning through Play' exploring this wonderful story through sensory experiences. Then we decided to make soda bread just like the little red hen. The boys and girls had so much fun discussing all the different ingredients and equipment needed to make bread and everyone had a turn at mixing and kneading the dough. The best part was the taste test. Everyone enjoyed the bread. It was delicious!!!
