Today the P6 and P7 class were unearthing the treasures of our limestone landscapes with the Marble Arch Caves. We delved into the rich history by exploring the area on a guided trail with the help of the fantastic team at the Marble Arch Caves.
We all were given a activity booklet which helped us unearth the hidden treasures of the landscape which surrounds us. We had great views of Cuilcagh Mountain as we were standing at the base of the northern slopes of Cuilcagh! We then went into the warmth of McGrath’s Cottage and learnt all about what life would have been like. We are now experts on different rocks such as sandstone and limestone and had lots of Fossil Fun.
We even met a little friend on the way!!🦊
