Today the P1 class went on a walk to visit St. Patrick’s church Killesher. The children have been learning all about ‘The Church’ as a place of prayer during their Grow in Love lessons. We talked about the different objects displayed in the church - altar, stained glass windows, tabernacle, statues, lectern, bible and candelabra. The children finished off their visit with a special prayer to God. 🙏
