We have been reading the story - The Little Red Hen in P1 as part of our topic Autumn Harvest. We decided to make bread in our class. We used wheaten flour, porridge oats, baking soda, buttermilk, salt and sugar. We all helped to weigh out and mix the ingredients together to make a dough. We baked our bread in the oven and topped it with butter and jam. It was delicious. 😋
