This week the boys and girls have been celebrating and learning about Antibullying week. The P6/7 class finished our week off with a wonderful assembly highlighting a very important message about Antibullying. They told us about the different forms of bullying, the importance of celebrating and respecting our differences - hair, colour, likes and dislikes and the need to speak to a trusted adult if someone has hurt them. Our school is a 'No Bullying' school and all children were reminded of that. The theme for Antibullying week was 'One Kind Word'. All classes focused on acts of kindness - P1 made their own tree of kindness, P2/3 had a jar of kind words, P4/5 made friendship cookies. We all had a wonderful week celebrating kindness in our school.
